I mixed together my food coloring and then my body spray scent and then I laid it out to dry. But I am worried about that food coloring staining someones skin and turning the water the color of the food coloring when it is put in the water. So if I keep it laid out to try over night will it still stain?

Letting it dry will not prevent staining. The colour gets reactivated when wet. However, you are only adding a tiny drop or two to get a pale colour, that there is hardly any colour at all. You won’t need to worry about it at all. The water won’t even be coloured when added to the bath. Just like the colour in shampoo is not a consideration — it’s too small an amount to make any difference.

Dead sea salts contains rich minerals which are helpful to certain skin conditions such as irritation, skin itchiness or eczema. It is also claimed to be able to assist in psoriasis condition.
Combined with essential oil such as lavender, ylang-ylang, jasmine, rose, geranium etc…use aroma dead sea bath salts during bath time to deep cleanse your body, nourish your skin condition and refreshing tired, aching body.
Treat it as a therapeutic home spa bath during your spare time. You may also use it for the feet during a warm foot soak to relieve tired, aching and painful feet.

I have a few basic oils, but I’m not quite sure how to get started with aromatherapy. I’d also like a source from which to purchase more oils and supplies. If anyone knows, that would be great! Thanks.

Getting into aromatherapy is great but if you really want to learn i would take a class on it im taking it as well i have 2 yrs left that is if you want the degree…. some of the oils you have to be very careful cause some can be toxic you should know all the contraindications about that…. always have the latin name correct and make sure it is the right latin name cause even tho it can say lavender oil if it doesnt have the latin name dont get it they should always have it , i know lavender oil has about 3 different latin names cause there are different ones so definately pick the right latin name…. so as you can see its difficult cause you really must be careful when choosing oils and even making things but if you want to take a class go to achs.edu its online and very thorough. good luck!

This weekend I was grocery shopping and out of the corner of my eye I caught the bath salts sitting on the shelf. I’ve been wanting to try these for sometime so I picked up the lavender scented one.

The salts are very rich in magnesium chloride, a particular kind of salt. The minerals are absorbed through the skin while soaking in the bathtub. This allows for an increase in blood circulation throughout the body.

Interesting facts about the Dead Sea:

- Contains ten times as much salt compared to other sea water

- 12-18% of Dead Sea Salt is sodium chloride compared to 97% of the salt that is found in the regular ocean water

- Because the Dead Sea is so dense with salt, it allows you to float more easily.

Have you ever used Dead Sea Mineral Bath Salts or Epsom Salt and if so what was your experience?
